Sells daily admissions and swim passes, performs miscellaneous clerical duties and does related work as required.

Operates a computerized cash handling system, collects fees, issues season swim passes, answers the telephone and provides information to the public regarding events or programs held at the Midco® Aquatic Center, admission prices and hours of operation, and may provide general housekeeping of the facility to ensure safety of participants and the public.

Under general supervision, ensures the safety of patrons of an aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies.

Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency. 
Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. 
Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service. 
Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility. 
Prepares and maintains appropriate activity reports. 
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include overseeing, instructing, planning and assessing the personnel and executing lifeguard activities. He/she trains the newcomers and supervises the operations that are executed in a swimming pool. He/she also executes other pool duties and roles, as and when needed, as advised by the pool manager.

Teach infant, preschool, school age and adult learn to swim, water safety and aquatic specialty classes for the department. Assists other instructors or performs light custodial/clerical duties when not teaching own class.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to enforcing policies and procedures, which ensure efficient and effective operation of pool facility including personnel management and training. 

Duties involve all swimming pool operations, including first aid, rotations, scheduling for staff, public relations, reporting any needed pool maintenance, cleanliness of locker rooms & concession area, swim lessons, water fitness classes and all other duties as necessary or required. This employee should have excellent organizational, communication, and public relation skills. This is a working supervisory position requiring weekend and holiday work.
